VPSHR – Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights

The Voluntary Principles are the only human rights guidelines designed specifically for extractive sector companies. Participants in the Voluntary Principles Initiative — including governments, companies, and NGOs — agree to proactively implement or assist in the implementation of the Voluntary Principles.

    VPSHR is a critically important initiative that should be embraced by many a corporate entities to ensure mutually acceptable co-existence between all socio-economic development stakeholders is procedurally taken into account by rolling out capacity building programmes, sustainable real time audit initiatives, continous training to all in gainful employment, government, private businesses and civil society organisations to ensure results of Security, Safety & Risk Management Reports remain credible beyond reasonable doubt,restrospectively allowing Global Growth to thrive and improve encompassing all variables to include Global Warming Levels and Green Energy for a better Globally Empowered Enviromental Future.
